You’ll work at homes and properties across Brisbane providing house washing, roof cleaning, pressure cleaning, gutter cleaning, solar panel cleaning and other exterior cleaning services.
House Washing Heroes isn’t just about washing houses, cleaning roofs and driveways or clearing gutters — we’re in the people business.
You’ll meet and speak with our clients at their homes, and every client is important to us.
How you communicate with people, how you treat their home and property, and how you represent HWH matters just as much as the quality of the work you leave behind.
You don’t need to come to us knowing everything about exterior cleaning. If you’re willing to learn, enjoy hands-on work and get satisfaction from doing a job properly, you’ll have the opportunity to learn our equipment, systems and cleaning processes while working alongside our experienced team.
No two days are exactly the same.
You’ll work at different properties around Brisbane, help set up and pack down equipment, work with hoses and cleaning equipment, use ladders and work around roofs, and spend much of your working day outdoors.

Before You Apply
Our work vehicles are manual, so a current Australian manual driver’s licence is an essential requirement of the role.
Our working day generally begins from our Bridgeman Downs base at approximately 7:00–7:30am, before the team travels to the day’s jobs.
For this reason, this position is best suited to applicants who live on Brisbane’s north side or within a practical commuting distance of Bridgeman Downs. Early starts combined with travel to and from jobs can make a long commute difficult to sustain, particularly on longer working days.
Employment initially starts on a casual basis, with the opportunity to progress to permanent employment for the right person if it’s a good fit for everyone.
The position is paid under the Cleaning Services Award 2020 (MA000022), Level 2.
What the Work Is Really Like
Exterior cleaning is active, hands-on work, and we want applicants to have a clear understanding of what a normal working day with HWH can involve.
You need to be comfortable:
• working outdoors in Brisbane conditions throughout the year
• safely using ladders and working at heights
• working on and around roofs where required
• being on your feet and performing active, hands-on work throughout the day
• handling, setting up and packing away hoses and exterior cleaning equipment
• following safety procedures and instructions
• working cooperatively as part of a team
• helping the team complete scheduled jobs safely and efficiently
Appropriate breaks are taken throughout the working day; however, this is an outdoor role and our team works in a range of weather conditions throughout the year.
Previous exterior cleaning experience is not necessarily required. We’re more interested in finding people who are reliable, safety-conscious, willing to learn and genuinely want to be part of the HWH team.
